EarlyAccess was founded by Shailendra R Upadhyay, based in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. He launched the platform on 15 August 2025 — India's Independence Day — with a deliberate intent: to build something for the entire country, not just its metros.

Having witnessed India's startup ecosystem grow to 1,15,000+ DPIIT-recognised startups — with 51% now coming from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities — Shailendra identified a critical, unoccupied gap in the market: no platform in India combined professional-only event curation, discovery, ticketing, and Tier 2 city focus. EarlyAccess was built to fill that exact gap.

The date was intentional. 15 August 2025 — India's 79th Independence Day — was chosen as the founding date to reflect the spirit at the heart of EarlyAccess: the belief that access to opportunity should not depend on where in India you were born or where you built your startup.

For too long, the best professional events — the summits where deals are made, the demo days where funding is raised, the meetups where co-founders find each other — have been concentrated in a few metros. EarlyAccess applies a strict professional-only curation standard. To be listed, events must serve India's professional and startup ecosystem. Qualifying events include startup conferences, investor days, founder meetups, B2B expos, professional workshops, and business summits.

Events that will not be listed: concerts, movies, comedy shows, sports events, personal celebrations, or any entertainment-focused gathering. This curation standard is what makes EarlyAccess valuable — and it's non-negotiable.
